About Free Tools Grid

Free Tools Grid is a free, fast, privacy-first toolbox for developers, designers, and everyday users. We bundle 44 utilities across 6 categories into one clean, ad-supported site.

Why we built this

Every developer has bookmarked a dozen single-purpose tool sites — one for JSON, one for Base64, one for QR codes, another for password generation. Most of them are slow, plastered with ads, or quietly upload your data to a server.

We wanted a place where you can drop in, get the job done in two clicks, and leave — without giving up your data, creating an account, or watching a paywall pop up.

How it works

Almost every tool here runs entirely in your browser. We use modern Web platform APIs — Canvas for image processing, Web Crypto for hashing, Web Workers for anything that would otherwise block the UI. Your files never touch our servers.

How we make money

We show small, unobtrusive ads (Google AdSense) to cover hosting costs. We don't sell your data, we don't require an account, and we don't lock features behind a paywall.

What's next

We're actively building this out in phases. Expect new tools, an offline PWA build, and deeper integrations (e.g., command palette, shareable links for tool state). Have a suggestion? Get in touch.
